John Eyre Motel and Caravan Facility is located adjacent to the Caiguna Roadhouse situated on one of Australia's best self drive road trips, the arbor.
John Eyre Motel has ten self-contained motel units and a caravan park with camping facilities. It is suggested that travellers make advance bookings given the number of rooms available, particularly during peak travel periods when many motels on the arbor can be booked out.
Located five kilometres west of Caiguna and ten metres on the Eyre Highway is Caiguna Blowhole, a natural feature which was formed by chemical and physical weathering processes that eroded the limestone bedrock. The blowhole breathes air in and out as high and low weather systems pass across the arbor.
