The State Hotel was the first built in a range of 'State Hotels' constructed throughout Western Australia.
The hotel is a fine old two-story brick building located in the heart of Gwalia.
The township of Gwalia is situated two hours drive north of Kalgoorlie which is six and a half hours drive east of Perth.
