Spending the day in Beacon and are unsure of what to do? Jump on a bus with our local amateur Botanist and take a trip to see various places of interest. There will be plenty of opportunities to take photos, do some bird watching, spot the wildflowers and take in the fresh country air. You'll also get to try some of our local produce and relax over a campfire lunch with billy tea.
Tours run every Monday from 10 August 2020 to 28 September 2020.
Follow our local Guide through discovery of local Wildflowers, from Everlastings to Orchids, Rare Plants and Bush Flowers. Explore rock pools, take in great views and learn more about our history of the land that is nature’s greatest gift.

- The Tour departs at At 9.30am from the Beacon Community Resource Centre (11 Rowlands Street, Beacon)
- Your camera | Water | Hat | Closed in shoes and wear comfortable clothes
The bus will return to the Centre by 2pm.
Our Tour Guide will cook a bushman’s sausage sizzle lunch, complete with billy tea at our famous Billiburning Rock, but if you have any special dietary requirements please bring your own.
The bus will take you to three or four different wildflower hotspots where you will have plenty of photo opportunities. Ask our Tour Guide lots of questions as she has a vault full of local information.
