Ilkurlka is situated on the Anne Beadell Highway and offers travellers a restful haven on their journey.

The Visitor Centre offers both a campground and studio accommodation.

The campground facilities include a barbecue, toilet and shower. Firewood is provided. The campground does not need to be pre-booked and is suitable for tour groups. The Studio accommodation requires booking in advance.

The nearby Ilkurlka Visitor Centre and Roadhouse offers basic groceries and diesel is available (opal needs to be pre-arranged). There is also an art gallery featuring works by well-known artists from Tjuntjuntjara.
