Set up as a functioning hospital before World War II, the Koorda Museum is definitely worth a look while in Koorda.
The Museum houses local artefacts and collections of historical papers of the district's history. The building was a former hospital and contains a special exhibit of hospital equipment. It was also used as a school hostel and then police station for a time.
The Museum is not always manned but tours and are available for a gold coin donation. Please contact the Koorda Community Resource Centre for enquiries.
