Kellerberrin

Kellerberrin, located in the hub of the historically rich Wheatbelt region, is just a two and a half hour drive from Perth along the Goldfields Trail. Wheat and sheep farming and the manufacture of agricultural equipment are the region’s main industries.

The beautiful countryside surrounding the town beckons to be explored, especially in spring when a parade of wildflowers burst into colour on the roadside, hills and plains.

Kellerberrin attractions

• Pay a visit to the unique Folk Museum, based at the old Agricultural Hall and surrounded by Pioneer Park. The town’s first building, built in 1897, it has served many purposes from a school to a courthouse and Road Board offices.
• Walk or drive out to Kellerberrin Hill Lookout and take in the views.
• Explore the third largest monolith in WA at Kokerbin Rock, the area also contains its own mini wave rock, dog rock and devils marbles.
• Keep an eye out for the historic Milligan Homestead along Kellerberrin/Bencubbin Road.
• Follow the heritage walk trail to Doodlakine Well site, the reason for the existence of this once bustling town.
• Try waterskiing at Bandee Ski Lake. Be sure to check out the conditions of the lake before arriving, as water levels vary from season to season.
