Friday night (1 November 2019)
From 6.00pm-9.00pm will be “Sundowner at The Station” with local entertainment. Drinks and food will be available to purchase throughout the night.
Saturday (2 November 2019)
A “Big Breakfast” will be available in the Information Bay at the Visitor Centre. Cost $10.
From 9.30am-2.30pm the “Apex Expo” market stalls will be set up at “The Station” Inside the Function Room will be a Bush Care display, reptile display and school art exhibition. The Wongan Arts Society are holding a “recycled” exhibition & will also house the Wildflower Display by Bush Care. Camp Cooking demonstrations will be held with Jo Clews from Melangata Station as well as gardening talks with Neville Passmore.
There will be food stalls and loads of activities for the kids including SciTech.
Bus tours will run to Reynoldson Reserve to see the beautiful Verticordia. You can book your spot (on the day) at the Wongan Hills Visitor Centre. While you’re there make sure you try our beautiful Devonshire Tea with freshly made scones, jam and cream.
Saturday night (2 November 2019) - 'Explore the Wongan Hills night sky event'
Join us for a magical evening of stargazing from 6.30pm at Wongan Hills Airport and take in the Crescent Moon, Jupiter, Saturn, Andromeda, Tarantula Nebula and the Silver Coin Galaxy in all their splendour.
Hosts from Astrotourism WA and StargazersClub WA will present a spectacular tour of the night skies.
- Bring your own picnic hamper, torches and camping chairs for a truly enjoyable experience.
- Bring your mobile phone along and learn how to shoot amazing starscapes through the telescopes.
- Laser Tours: 8pm, 8:45pm and 9:30pm
Sunday (3 November 2019)
A “Big Breakfast” will be available in the Information Bay at the Visitors Centre. Cost $10.
Due to popular demand, the Senior’s morning tea Sing-A-Long is back with entertainment from the local choir starting at 10am. Buses to Reynoldson Reserve will be running again (book at the Wongan Hills Visitor Centre) and Devonshire Teas will be available in the visitor centre.
Don’t forget to check out the Wongan Hills District Museum while your here as they have some amazing and interesting history about Wongan Hills & District. The Museum will be open Saturday & Sunday 9am-4pm.

To get to the Reserve head north on the Northam/Pithara Road and turn right onto the Kondut SE Road (just before Kondut) and then make a right onto the Old Ballidu Road (gravel road).
The Reserve is approximately 2km along this road on the left hand side.
