Sandstone's only caravan park, The Alice Atkinson Caravan Park, has 40 well-maintained bays and is set in pleasant surrounds.
It features clean, first-class ablution blocks with disabled facilities, coin-operated washing machines, barbeques and picnic tables. There is a well-equipped camp kitchen, playground and is only a short walk to all the sights and services in town.
The Park is also home to the historic railway shed which is almost all that is left in town of the once busy train line.
To the west end of the park, you will see the bright water tank murals, painted in 2023, which feature local fauna/flora and aspects of local history.
Dogs on leashes are welcome. Sorry, no dogs to stay at the units.
