Yee-haa, Cowboys and Cowgirls! Saddle up and dust off your boots because the wildest shindig this side of the big red rock is rollin' into town – it's the Coolgardie Rodeo & Outback Festival, and we're fixin' to have a rip-roarin' good time!

We ain't just talkin' about any ordinary hoedown, folks. We're talkin' live music that'll make your boots tap and your heart sing louder than a dingo on a moonlit night.

But hold onto your Akubra's, 'cause that ain't all! We've got a junior rodeo that'll have your young 'uns ridin' high and feelin' like true cowboys and cowgirls. And guess what? Camping's on the house, so bring your tents, caravans, trucks, campers, utes or just roll out your swags under the stars.

Think you've got the grit to handle it? Then saddle up for the WA Camp Oven Championship – where the best cooks in the west will be rustlin' up some mouthwaterin' feeds that'll have you comin' back for seconds faster than a stampede.

But wait, there's more! How 'bout a Truck and Ute Muster that'll have your wheels spinnin' and your engines roarin' louder than a bull at a rodeo? And for all you crafty cowpokes, don't miss the Blacksmiths workshop – where you can hammer out your own horseshoes or just admire the craftsmanship.

And for those who wanna take their adventure to new heights, hop on board for Helicopter Rides that'll give you a bird's-eye view of all the action below.

And for all you hungry folks, we've got food vans servin' up grub hotter than a branding iron, plus children's entertainment to keep the little wranglers happy while you kick back and enjoy the show.

The main event, the Coolgardie Rodeo, starts at the official Rodeo site from 12pm and has a prize pool of $20,000 including Bull Riding, Barrel Racing and Bareback Bronc riding events which have been coordinated by the national Australian Bushmans Campdraft & Rodeo Association.
