Located approximately 20 kilometres east of Corrigin townsite, Gorge Rock holds a significant place in the district's history. Information signs paint a picture of what the area once was and all the events that brought the community together.

Stay overnight or just pop by for a picnic, Gorge Rock picnic area has a large, gravelled area for recreational vehicles, picnic tables, a composting toilet and two fire pits for toasty winter fires.

Take the time to walk around the base of the rock and discover areas such as the amphitheatre, which was once used by the local scouts' group. At the summit of Gorge Rock are panoramic views of the surrounding farmland and a view of the natural rock pool which was dammed in the early fifties.
