Spread out across the salt lakes of the Northern Goldfields are the world-famous Anthony Gormley Statues at Lake Ballard. Inspired by the isolating landscape surrounding the lake, it is a must-see for the art lovers and outdoorsy adventurers.

Short on time, but desperate to experience Anthony Gormley’s world-famous statues on Lake Ballard? Take to the sky and soar over this stunning outback landscape.

Your flight path will first explore the Kalgoorlie-Boulder townsite and its hidden gems, including the Super Pit. On the way to Lake Ballard, explore some of our region's operational and abandoned townsites and mine workings including Kanowna and Ora Banda.

Your helicopter will also detour slightly to catch a glimpse of Rowles Lagoon – a freshwater wetland that is reserved for nature conservation in the Goldfields Region and is home to 41 species of water birds!

Upon arrival at Lake Ballard, you will be given the opportunity for self-exploration on-site. You may choose to settle in with a view and simply relax and enjoy your freshly packed brunch – or take a wander, stretch your legs, and marvel at these breathtaking sculptures close up.
