Mellenbye station is a working Cattle Station just four-and-a-half hours north of Perth. The station is situated between the towns of Morawa and Yalgoo just off the sealed Morawa Yalgoo Road. The station stay offers guests the opportunity to stay on the property, either in a range of onsite accommodation including, The manor, cottages, cabins, motel and apartment-style rooms, donga rooms, Glamping Pods, Shearers quarters or bring your caravan, tent or recreational vehicle.
The station was established in 1895 and a number of the original buildings remain, including a lovely stone and tin shearing shed. The shed is perfect for functions such as birthdays, weddings, charity events and for enjoying a number of activities that are on offer. Explore station country, the colours of the breakaway country, stunning night skies and sitting by the campfire. With so much accommodation available, Mellenbye is perfect for that special private function you always planned.
From August until mid-October, the gorgeous everlastings and wreath flowers are put on display on the station and surrounding areas. Mellenbye is a perfect location to base yourself for your wildflower exploration. The station is open with bookings from April until mid October.
