A wonderful social history museum that is definitely worth a visit. 25 original and replica buildings from the region’s past. Wander down memory lane and visit The Schoolhouse, Stone Church, Village Fire Station, Bank and Quarantine Cottage. Picture the ‘smithy’ working in the Blacksmiths, listen for the sound of sheep in the Shearing Shed.

See the artefacts of years gone by in The General Store, Barbers, Bootmakers Shop and Dressmakers Shop. Browse through two large sheds full of vintage machinery.

Stop at the Tourist Information Centre located within the village for information on the region’s history. Inspect the range of souvenirs on offer.
