Morning: Bunbury to Collie (55km)
Start the road trip adventure with a regional shop (so make sure you have an empty cooler on standby!). Head to Butcher Kev's Spry's Meat Market to grab locally sourced barbeque supplies. For healthy snacks en route, visit Blueberry Farm Collie to pick your own berries.
Is it 12pm yet? Enjoy a cold one at boutique brewery Brew 42, open by appointment only. If you are the spontaneous type, you can also try their handcrafted beers at the Kiosk at the Dam while admiring the biggest dam mural in the world at Wellington Dam. Or choose to be indulgent with a visit to Harris River Estate. The Collie River Valley estate serves a trifactor of wines, spirits, and brews, all made on-premise.
Check if your visit coincides with the Collie Country Markets. The monthly market occurs on the first Saturday of every month at the Showground Pavilion. Be tempted by market stalls, Jo's Bargain Bazaar, and food vendors while kids enjoy free train rides and the craft activity centre.
Collie to Darkan (62km)
Put on your swimmers for a dip in the beautiful semi-freshwater Lake Towerrinning. The lake is ideal for swimming, kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, water skiing, or simply relaxing on its golden shores. Bring binoculars to spot birdlife in the surrounding bush and farmlands.

Held annually on the second Saturday in February, Darkan Sheepfest is a grassroots festival that offers insight into the local sheep industry. It includes meetings with producers, sheep shearing competitions, sheep flock shows, markets, and food vendors.
Darkan to Wagin (62km)
Welcome to Wagin, home of the Giant Ram! The regional mascot is the second largest in the Southern Hemisphere and honours the region's wool industry.
After your photo session, stroll through Wagin Historical Village. The museum contains 25 original and replica historic buildings, including the Village Fire Station, Stone Church, Blacksmith, and machinery from a bygone era.
Continue to fill up your cooler by discovering the origins of Western Australia's popular menu item, Wagin Duck, at the family-owned store Wagin Duck & Game. To enhance your gut health, visit wellness producer Unigrain to purchase plant-based food and beverage ingredients.

Dust off the flannel shirt and strap on the boots for Wagin Woolarama. Running every March, the much-anticipated agricultural fair includes competitions, food stalls, arts and crafts, a dog entertainment arena, and a rodeo.
Wagin to Dumbleyung (40km)
Deepen your connection to Country at Wuddi Aboriginal Cultural Centre & Tours. Participate in cultural experiences such as bushfood tastings and guided tours to significant indigenous sites. The centre also sells locally made indigenous artworks and products with proceeds supporting local artists.
