The original Post and Telegraph office, built in 1909 is now a heritage building renewed and transformed into a beautiful cafe serving light meals and fresh coffee. The cafe has kept the historic vibe showcasing artefacts from when it was operating as a post office.

Open since May 2023, the Post Office Cafe has become well-known for its 'London bridge croissants' and delicious 'Post office parcels'. Situated directly across from the Sandstone Heritage Museum and Visitor Centre and diagonal to the general store, the area has become a centralized hub for meeting and soaking in the history of the town.
