Culham Inlet, just west of Hopetoun, is a landlocked estuary that offers exceptional fishing opportunities and picturesque lookouts. Climb to the top of the East Mount Barren lookout for spectacular panoramic views across the inlet, Steere and Phillip Rivers that drain into the inlet as well as the Southern Ocean.
Take a bushwalk around the estuary and surrounding land or just relax and enjoy the enticing calm turquoise waters. Culham Inlet is also home to a plethora of bird species and a set of binoculars would be advisable for those interested in bird watching.
