The Central Wheatbelt Visitor Centre is located in the heart of Merredin; a thriving regional town a pleasant three hours drive from either Perth or Kalgoorlie along the Great Eastern Highway.
The friendly staff will welcome you and advise you on self-drive options, attractions and events throughout the Central Wheatbelt, including wildflower hotspots in season and information on other regions of Western Australia.
The Centre boasts a fine selection of handmade gifts and souvenirs, each one expertly hand crafted by our talented locals. From one-off jewellery pieces and decorative timber home wares, to gourmet condiments and regional history and natural history books, you can take home a piece of our beautiful region.
We have electronic pedal-assist trikes available for hire for a unique way to tour our town. Free Wi-Fi is also available to keep connected with your family and friends while travelling.
