The cooler seasons of the year are a great opportunity to set out on a Golden Outback adventure. Those inland outback areas are a little cooler, with sunny days still shining through to contrast with the beautiful landscape.

Travelling with kids can be tricky, and often involves LOTS of stops! Luckily, there are plenty of unique and fun spots throughout the Wheatbelt that the whole family will enjoy. Add a couple of these stops to your itinerary (and maybe keep one up your sleeve for those unplanned stops too! They’ll make your next family road trip a breeze!

The Wheatbelt is rich with history, and fittingly so, boasts a huge number of museums! The majority of these are suitable for kids, so they can be enjoyed by the whole family! Most of these Museums are run by local volunteers and just ask for a small entry charge and often kids are even free, making them great value for money!
